Common Questions
What firing temperature are your glazes suitable for?
Our glazes are categorized by firing range: high fire (Cone 9–10), mid fire (Cone 5–6), and low fire (Cone 06–04). Each product listing includes recommended temperature ranges.
What types of clay are the glazes compatible with?
Most glazes work well with porcelain, stoneware, or red clay bodies, but final results may vary depending on the clay type and firing conditions. We recommend testing on a small batch first.
Will the glaze color and texture be exactly as shown?
Fired results may vary depending on kiln atmosphere (oxidation/reduction), application thickness, clay body, and firing schedule. Photos on the site are for reference—testing is recommended for best results.
Are the glazes food-safe? Can they be used on dinnerware?
Most of our glazes are food-safe when properly fired. However, certain special-effect glazes (like crystalline or metallic glazes) are not recommended for food contact surfaces. Please check the "Food Safe" note on each product page.
Are your glazes in liquid or powder form?
We offer liquid/powder glazes (please adjust based on your product). Powder glazes require mixing with water before use, following the instructions provided.
What if the glaze has settled, hardened, or separated?
Sedimentation or separation is normal in liquid glazes--simply stir or shake well before use. If powder glaze clumps due to moisture, sift before applying.
How do I get the best application results?
Glaze results depend on the method (dipping, spraying, brushing). Refer to the product recommendations and always run a test tile to determine optimal application thickness.
Do you offer custom glaze colors or bulk purchasing?
Do you offer samples or test packs?
We offer sample sizes(Mini Package) for select glazes, ideal for testing before placing a full order.
